My parents get Kroger’s fuel discounts for buying groceries but never use hem as they get fuel elsewhere. I only buy Kroger’s but only get 10 cents off at a time because I use the phone number and not the actual Kroger card. Anyways my mom was with me and I was able to get 70 cents off! Filled up the tank for under 30 dollars.

I’m other news I have to replace the inner tie rod on the driver side before I can get it aligned. Oh and I need to complete that before we get hit by a snow storm in about 3 hours.

Huh. I paid $1.79 yesterday for gas the the Costco. Normal stations are just over $2.

Most I have ever gotten as a discount at Ralphs (Kroger) was 60 cents a gallon. It was still above $3 per gallon with the discount but it was still pretty awesome how much it saved. I earn all of those points myself though so it was not easy. I think I had gotten a 4x point bonus when buying a $100 gift card for a wedding gift so that helped a ton.

I just paid $2.99 undiscounted and was super pumped since I haven't paid under $3 for premium in a long time. I am out of state though which explains it.

Local gas prices are about $2.10 a gallon, but if I’m in the college town nearby, it’s almost $2.00.

damn.. it’s 1992 all over again.  Just paid $3.29 for 92 out here, (and feel pretty good about it actually - lots of places are $3.49, $3.55, etc..)
